Please enjoy this collection of photographs of our members and their Welsh.  This first section is from the first show of the season, held on Saturday May 6, 2006. 

This is Brittney and Crwys, a section C gelding who Brittney showed in hand and under saddle.

Here is Martha and her section D gelding, Henry.  This was Martha's first time showing under saddle in a few years.  She did a great job!

Here is Mandy and her section D stallion, Dundee.  Mandy joined us for our first Heartland show in 2004, but was busy doing something important last year like protecting our freedom.  It was great to see Mandy again!

This handsome fellow is Will riding "his" pony, Sprocket who is a section B stallion.  This was Sprocket's first time showing in English Pleasure and he was pretty tired by the time Will's lead line class came around, but they had a lot of fun.

Here is Josh Friedrich with Severn Pavlova and his cousin Samantha Cole with Stonehaven Ddrud Bili-Pala.  It is so nice to have our families involved with our ponies, especially when that family (like Sam) comes from out of town to help.  We certainly hope to see more of Sam, Josh and the rest of the Friedrich family at the rest of our shows this year!

Here is the full class of Welsh English Pleasure.  From the left, we have Dundee, Archie (half-Welsh, 4 year old gelding), Crwys, Henry and Sprocket. 

It was so fun being able to show all sections in the same ring at the same time.  We are all looking forward to coming to this show again next year and hope our hosts will invite us to join in their fall show in 2007.  Thank you to the Indiana Saddle Horse Association for hosting a wonderful show!

The next show of the season for our members was the Heartland Welsh Show at the end of July.  Although there were several people outside of our club showing, here are a few pictures of our members and their ponies doing their thing.

Here is Josh Friedrich with the lovely filly, Stonehaven Winter Rose.  She was an absolute doll at our show taking home the B filly champion ribbon under Judge Schiller.  As usual, Josh did a wonderful job showing her.

Here is Samantha Cole and Speedy (Stonehaven All Reved Up) outside the ring.  As you can see from her smile, Sam really enjoyed herself at the show.  And we really enjoyed having Sam there too.
